We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations for multiple clients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded in the general ledger.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements and cash flow statements.
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
