Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
- Manage cash handling and maintain accurate cash register balances.
- Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring the shop is well-organized and visually appealing.
- Promote and upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Supervise shop operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide information about golf equipment, apparel, and services offered at the shop.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the shop environment.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers.
- Familiarity with retail sales techniques, including upselling strategies.
- Previous experience in supervising staff or managing retail operations is preferred.
- Ability to effectively stock merchandise and maintain inventory levels.
- Knowledge of golf products and services is a plus but not required.
