General Description:
Coordinate the shipping/warehousing team to lead the shipping department in meeting daily customer demands by fulfilling and receiving orders safely and on time while providing outstanding service on shipping options for the customer.
Receive, pull, package, and invoice daily orders within time constraints, keeping part traceability on lot numbers. Perform various projects as they occur and reorganize parts shelves, physical counts, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
- Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance.

- Help in the relief of breaks as needed
- Maintain records and documentation

- Responsibility for warehouse incoming and outgoing goods
- Ensure that our Physical inventory and System inventory are maintained.
- Optimize space by ensuring that everything is in its place
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times
- Performs tasks in the inventory system as related to shipments and receiving
- Booking and scheduling of trucks with best rates for scheduled deliveries to our customers.
- Oversees all shipments of thin set product with Material Handlers
- Collects information for damaged claims and communicates those damages to Supervisor / Plant Manager
- Follow and enforce warehouse policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Experience:
- Prior experience in a shipping / receiving role
- General knowledge of warehouse procedures and record keeping
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong technical knowledge and sound communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed
Education:
· Minimum of High School Diploma / GED and relevant experience
Physical Requirement:
· This position requires walking, sitting, or standing to a significant degree and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently lifting less than 10.
