What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant, Accounting / Administrative position at Schmidt Boat Lifts & Docks Inc.?
Schmidt Boat Lifts & Docks is growing & is looking for the right person to add to our office support team. Qualified applicant should be able to manage & troubleshoot various assigned tasks, follow directions well, & be able to multi-task & work efficiently with the team or on his/her own. Must be personable & professional while working with our suppliers, customers & fellow teammates.
Duties could include, but are not limited to: online store maintenance & fulfillment, shipping orders, coordinating pick ups & store transfers, assisting with timesheet entry & HR duties, supporting inventory/purchasing processes, assisting customers in person & on the phone when needed, emailing customer notifications, filing, miscellaneous projects, & administrative duties.
We place a high emphasis on accountability, attention to detail, teamwork, communication, & supporting the entire team. A qualified applicant should be punctual, reliable & want to take on responsibilities. Must be proficient on a computer – knowledge of MS Office & Quickbooks Enterprise is a plus.
This is a fulltime position with some overtime—in-season (April-May) hours are 8:30-6; off-season (June-March) hours are 8:30-5, occasional Saturdays.
