Description :

Bond Schoeneck & King seeks an experienced and innovative Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer to lead our marketing team of seven employees. This role is pivotal in driving our brand strategy, enhancing market presence, continuing a history of excellent client service and achieving our ambitious objectives.

Headquartered in Syracuse, NY with 15 offices across 5 states, Bond is dedicated to exceptional client service and strategic growth.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support the firm's overall objectives.
Utilize data-driven insights to continuously refine marketing and business development strategies and tactics.
Develop and lead business development strategies and efforts utilizing market data and research, working closely with the attorneys in the various practice groups.
Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
Drive brand awareness and positioning through innovative campaigns and initiatives.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to optimize marketing efforts and identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and practice groups to ensure alignment and support business goals.
Oversee the planning and execution of digital marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on marketing insights, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements :

Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles, ideally as a Chief Marketing Officer or equivalent at a law firm.

Extensive experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that drive business results.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.

Deep understanding of market research, the legal industry, and marketing analytics.

Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Creative thinker with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Travel will be required.
