We approach problems with creativity and innovation. The Seattle, WA office is seeking a Staff Civil / Structural Engineer to join our growing practice. Job Responsibilities :
Apply professional principles, complex numerical models, and innovative solutions to real-world problems as part of a team of engineers and scientists while under the supervision of senior engineering personnel.
Assist in the preparation of CAD drawings for contract documents and reports with input and guidance from senior engineers in accordance with internal drafting procedures and guidelines.
Develop engineering recommendations and write technical reports.
Perform design calculations for hydraulic structures including spillways, dam outlet works, diversion and check structures, measurement flumes, and other various raw water infrastructure.
Assist in construction site observation and field engineering services. Ability to travel and work in the field is required.
Perform analysis and design of steel and concrete structures
Prepare design drawings, reports, and technical specifications
Required Skills / Experience :
Bachelor's degree focused in civil engineering, from an ABET-accredited institution.
0-2 years of design-oriented consulting engineering.
Passing result on F.E. Exam.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Analysis and design of steel and concrete structures
Preparation of calculations, drawings, reports, etc.
Perform / adopt computer-aided structural analysis
Become proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and Bluebeam
Acquire the understanding of ASCE, AISC, and ACI codes
Learn to negotiate construction sites and practice site safety
Other Requirements :
Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record, and credit check.
Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.
The compensation range for an Entry-Level Civil Engineer is between $57,200 to $86,000. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors. We remain committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation to all employees, regardless of their location.
