Are you a passionate Civil Structural Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? Join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of building design and structural innovation! In this role, you’ll dive into a mix of building enclosure and energy compliance consulting for both new and existing structures while also tackling structural repair and retrofit designs. You'll collaborate with talented architects, consultants, and industry experts, bringing your technical expertise to the forefront. What You Will Do
Produce design of building enclosure systems for new construction and existing buildings (30%)
- Generate standalone set of CAD drawings of building enclosure systems
- Oversee and provide guidance for drafters
- Interface with clients to discuss project goals and needs
- Conduct site visit to document as-built geometries
- Research and specify materials and respond to city review comments
- Review and respond to submittals and RFIs during construction
Provide guidance on building enclosure related energy compliance (20%)
Assist structural repair / retrofit investigations and design (20%)
Research writing and presentations (20%)
Investigate and opine on failures (10%)
May include other duties, as assigned.

About the Firm
Founded in 1955, OAC provides public and private multi-disciplinary, building consulting services. OAC delivers comprehensive program management, applying proven management techniques to the planning, design, and construction of a project from inception to completion. OAC's building enclosure team designs efficient, complete, and sustainable building enclosure systems. The Forensic Architecture and Engineering practice at OAC provide investigation, repair design, and expert witness consulting on construction litigation and insurance claims.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000 / year up to $115,000 / year . Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
