Schneider Electric Federal Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Schneider Electric Holdings Inc., a leading electrical distribution company specializing in serving the federal sector. This company operates under a Special Security Agreement with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency in order to prevent FOCI (foreign ownership control & influence).
Job Summary :
We are seeking a Project Coordinator that will support Project managers in gathering equipment, resources, and information to successfully execute assigned projects. Their main duties include managing inventory (receiving, storing, tracking, and distribution), maintaining project schedules, participating in meetings with our customers, and tracking project labor for routine comparison of budgeted hours to project progress.
What will you do?
- Track material purchases and design changes required by Project Engineer.
- Evaluate potential problems with subcontractor productivity and suggest solutions.
- Assist Project Manager updating and publishing project schedule.
- Manage project-related inventory by ensuring all materials are secure and properly stored, documented when distributed (via transmittals) and accurately listed in current inventory.
- Maintain project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project Look Ahead schedules, meeting minutes and related emails.
- Assist with Engineering Cost Proposals to support requests for additional government funding.
