Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Data Analytics Intern in our Athens, TX facility during the Spring starting January of 2025. This on-site position requires the ideal candidate to be located in the general area. This will be a part-time position. With over 135,000 employees thriving in more than 100 countries, our technology, software, and services improve the way our customers manage and automate their operations, ensuring Life Is On everywhere.As a Data Analytics Intern, you will have the following responsibilities : Assisting in the implementation and optimization of logistics automation solutions to streamline warehouse operations and enhance efficiency.Analyzing data related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipment tracking to identify opportunities for process improvement.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing, inventory control, and delivery.Supporting the development and implementation of logistics and supply chain strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.Participating in projects to enhance logistics operations, such as warehouse layout optimization, transportation route optimization, and inventory optimization.Assisting in the evaluation and selection of logistics technology and software solutions to support automation and digitalization initiatives.Conducting research on industry best practices and trends in logistics automation and making recommendations for continuous improvement.This position may be a good fit for you if : You are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.You have knowledge or experience in warehouse automation, logistics operations, and warehouse management systems.You are proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.You are a proactive team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.You have a strong desire to learn and contribute to the field of logistics automation.Let us learn about you!
