What do you get to do in this position?

 

 We are looking for an energetic, self-driven and collaborative Connected Device Solutions Leader to be part of our Home & Distribution NAM Engineering organization. In this position you will:

 

  • Work closely with Business Strategy, Marketing and Digital to establish product's business value, support messaging, communication and customer outreach as necessary
  • Help define, create and animate customer use cases that deliver simple user interfaces and experiences.
  • Participates in VoC activities in order to help establish customer requirements for projects and to identify trends.
  • Stay in front of technology trends and competition to help deliver innovative offers.
  • Develop Technology Roadmaps in alignment with strategy, marketing, technology, supply chain.
  • Collaborate with architecture teams during the feasibility phase and drive execution of new projects.
  • Drive execution of firmware, software and hardware strategies through effective leadership, influence, and strong collaboration with multi-disciplined teams.
  • Lead maintenance and evolution of existing offers through quality, sustainability, cost and supply chain resilience initiatives
  • Provides support to customers in application of our systems and offers when required.
  • Active communication of strategy, opportunities, and risks with key stakeholders.

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering
  • Great leadership skills, ability to influence partners and stakeholders internally and externally
  • Are a thought leader who can challenge the status quo
  • Sets high standards for the team and manages performance efficiently
  • years of relevant experience and strong background in electronics/connected devices
  • Desired technical expertise:
    • Knowledge of electronics HW design and simulation systems, DC Power Systems, UPS, Rectifiers, Inverters, SS Relays, VFD/VSD, Solid State Soft Starters.
    • Understanding of Electric machines, control theory, AD/DC Power conversion, Solid State Switching and Interruption,
    • Understanding of EMC testing and design mitigation techniques.
    • Experience with SAAS and programing languages Java, Python C , Rust
    • Network solutions experience and strong knowledge of network services, devices and network stack preferred.
  • Awareness of customer pain points and ability to find features that bring value
