Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks an IA Distribution Manager - Americas Region in Morrisville, NC.
Job Description: Manage the complete deployment of the Alliance Program for Industrial Automation Distribution Channel regarding the Americas region, with a strong focus in the USA. Influence, convince, and challenge the Sales VP, Sales Managers and Industrial Distribution Channel Manager, into the transformation of the strategy and deployment of the new Commercial Policy of the Distribution Sales Channel and business model according to the Global Alliance IAD 2.0 program. Manage the Co Fund financing process transformation for our Industrial Automation Distribution, making sure that USA is following the global standard of excellence. Support the USA training team in order to upgrade and launch the Distribution Sales Channel. Manage the transformation of the JGPA process from traditional to the new Digital Model, together with the Industrial Distribution Channel Manager (IDCM), and collaborating with the Sales Managers and Sales VP in order to select the right customers, with focus on sales growth. Transform USA information usage regarding Sales Opportunities, collaborating with the Marketing Managers and Sales Manager, in order to improve the data quality, bringing added value to the Sales Managers to make decisions regarding their customer targets. 70% travel required (30% international, 40% domestic) in Americas region to meet with distributors and Schneider teams. Eligible for up to 3 days remote work per week.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation Engineering, Industrial Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field and 7 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in global marketing offer management, marketing management, sales management, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Developing local and global industrial automation business with distributors and their ecosystem (OEM), system integrators, and end users, in multi-national corporations and regions including South and North America; Coaching and mentoring channel sales and marketing teams; Budgeting for management, ensuring investments are used according to established guidelines; Evaluating Industrial Automation portfolio and suitability to the distribution channel; and Joint action planning to expand distributors business scope across wide portfolio of product and customers types.
