What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planning & Project Leader position at Schneider Electric?
What will you do?
- Lead & Support: Guide the downstream team to ensure a smooth flow of orders through production, focusing on availability, on-time delivery, and complexity.
- Monitor & Improve: Oversee healthy start processes to achieve satisfactory output levels and drive improvements to reduce BOV (Back Order Volume).
- Master Production Plan: Lead the Master Production Plan process in collaboration with other functions, ensuring maturity according to SPS (Standard Production System).
- Value Stream Mapping: Manage the plant's Value Stream Mapping (current & future state) and lead continuous improvement of Product Lead Time through cross-functional action plans.
- Supply Chain Performance: Monitor and enhance downstream supply chain performance at the plant level.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain a continuous improvement approach for ISSR (Internal Supplier Service Rating), BOL (Back Order Lines), OTD (On-Time Delivery), Customer Lead Time, DIN/NIN (Day of Inventory/Net Inventory), FG (Finished Goods), and UHS (Unhealthy Stock).
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
Microsoft Office Suite experience is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Experience with SAP a plus

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required.
3 years relevant experience focuses on managing production to optimize the use of resources and meet production schedules and standards
Experience in Lean methodologies is preferred.
Experience with ERP systems required.
