We are looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Associate to join our team at Schofield Spine Motion. The Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while assisting with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Greeting & Check-In: Greet patients as they arrive, verify appointment details, and check them in for their appointments. Ensure patients feel welcome and comfortable.
- Scheduling & Appointment Management: Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the calendar for multiple practitioners. Handle appointment reminders and cancellations.
- Patient Intake: Collect patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and any required documentation.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain patient records, input data into the practice management software, and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Payment Collection: Collect co-pays and other payments from patients.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients and the providers, ensuring effective communication. Answer patient questions, both in person and over the phone, in a professional and helpful manner.
- Office Organization: Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area. Assist with general office duties as needed, including ordering supplies.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns or inquiries and escalating issues as needed
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with chiropractors, physical therapists, and other staff to ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare office is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Familiarity with chiropractic and/or physical therapy care is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare administration are a plus.

- This position is based in an interdisciplinary healthcare office with a supportive work environment.
