TITLE: Assistant Principal, Elementary School
REPORTS TO: Principal EVALUATION: Elementary School Principal - Annually

SUPERVISES: In collaboration with the building principal, responsible for all faculty and staff
GENERAL SUMMARY: Assistant Principal, in the absence of the principal, shall assume responsibility for the school. They are accountable to the principal and will execute duties as directed, which may encompass providing assistance in the direction, organization, supervision, evaluation, administration, and discipline of the school and related employees. As an educational leader, and in conjunction with the principal, the Assistant Principal will assume a vital role within the school's leadership team, overseeing the administration and management of daily operations to cultivate a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere. The Assistant Principal will collaborate with the principal, faculty, staff, and students to uphold academic standards, promote student success, and contribute to the overall excellence of the school.
QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED):
Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
New Hampshire state certification in Educational Leadership (or eligible).
Relevant administrative experience in an elementary school setting is preferred.
Minimum five years of successful teaching experience.
Strong knowledge of the most recent educational policies, procedures, and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Administrative Duties:
Assist in the day-to-day administrative operations of the school.
Participate in meetings, committees, and professional development activities as required.
