Color Guard Instructor

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Color Guard Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in color guard performance and instruction, with the ability to inspire and lead students in developing their skills. This role requires strategic planning and effective operations management to ensure a successful program that fosters creativity, teamwork, and discipline among participants.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Color Guard Director to develop and implement engaging color guard routines that align with the overall vision of the program.
• Provide instruction in techniques, choreography, and performance skills to students of varying skill levels.
• Support the Color Guard Director with leading rehearsals, ensuring a positive and productive environment while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
• Manage logistics related to performances, including scheduling rehearsals, coordinating equipment, and overseeing travel arrangements.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall marching band experience.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
• Foster a culture of respect, discipline, and commitment within the color guard team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
