Job description
This is an experienced technical position in risk management administration requiring an overall knowledge of Florida Worker’s Compensation law and property & casualty. The purpose of this position is to perform duties associated with the processing and monitoring of the Property & Casualty and Workers Compensation Program. Responsibilities include collecting and reviewing all accident/incident reports to remit to the third-party administrator. This position will assist injured employees or assigned facility staff in filing workers’ compensation claims and administer the light-duty program. The Specialist will gather on-the-job injury details, including witness statements and video recording. The ideal candidate will have a detailed mindset for investigations and an empathetic ear for the injured party.
