What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Band Teacher position at School District of River Falls?
River Falls School District is seeking an energetic, innovative, and student-focused educator to serve as a 1.0 FTE band instructor at Meyer Middle School beginning the 2025-2026 school year. Preference given to candidates eligible for a Wisconsin Department of Instruction license issued 1506 Instrumental Music.
The ideal candidate will:
* Value a collaborative team teaching environment
* Collaborate with High School staff to build a cohesive 6-12 band program that inspires lifelong musicianship
* Promote school spirit and Arts and Music within our Community
* Be willing to take part in opportunities with students that often take place outside of the school day and summer
* Have advanced training and/or education in music theory (desired but not required)
The top candidate will be offered a competitive salary. Extra-duty stipends, as well as other coaching/extra-curricular duties, are available. The position begins on August 19, 2025.
