What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extended School Year Nurse Substitute position at School District of Springfield Township?
Qualifications
Previous experience working with students preferred specifically students with autism.
A minimum of 48 or more undergraduate credits and/or a paraeducator stipend is required.
An Active Pennsylvania RN or LPN license is required.
Willingness to support children in self care such as, dressing, toileting and eating.
Physical stamina to participate in all activities including education, preparation of activities and material.
Must be a good team player, punctual, energetic, parent friendly and have an eagerness to learn.
Description
The School District of Springfield Township is seeking candidates who possess excellent interpersonal skills, the desire to work with energetic students, and the ability to relate well within the school community. Position would substitute for the program during ESY 2024 and/or be assigned to go on community based field trips as needed.
Terms of employment
As needed during ESY Program and Training Dates.
Training Dates= June 25, 2025 and June 26, 2025.
Program Dates= July 7, 2025 through August 7, 2025, Monday through Thursday.
