Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys cleaning, floor maintenance, and making spaces shine clean in a large private school facility in the Green Hills area.
Responsibilities:
- Follow company/supervisor's policies/instructions for daily duties and special events
- Perform routine cleaning tasks that include, but not limited to dusting, large area vacuuming of school (classrooms, restrooms, gym, cafeteria, offices, etc.), use of floor scrubber machine, mopping/cleaning/polishing commercial kitchen and restrooms, collecting trash, etc.
- Assist occasionally with event setup/cleanup throughout each week (moving/assembling/take-downs of tables and chairs)
Regular Hours: 30 hours per week
Monday - Friday: 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Compensation
$16.25 per hour plus Benefits*
* Opportunity to earn an extra $0.50/hr incentive
We pay semi-monthly, on the 25th and 10th of each month, via direct deposit.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Commercial cleaning, preferably experience working on churches or school facilities
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and leg
- Ability to stand, walk, and push carts for long periods, frequently bending, climbing, and lifting, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors and peers in English.
- Able to comply with the criminal background check required to work in facilities around children
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to work on a smoke-free environment
- Able to use a smartphone to clock online-based timesheets
- Required to have a banking account (checking, savings, or payroll card) for direct deposit
