Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys cleaning and doing floor maintenance in a school facility in the Green Hills area (Nashville)
Responsibilities:
- Follow company and customers policies, and follow supervisor instructions
- perform routine cleaning tasks that include, but not limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, classrooms, libraries, gymnasiums, cafeteria, emptying trash, picking up debris from grounds
- event setup/cleanup (moving furniture and setups assemblies)
- floor/carpet maintenance work expected during school breaks (carpet cleaning, floor scrubbing, buffing, stripping and finishing)
Hours
- Regular Schedule: 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
- Flexible Start Times: Earlier start times may be considered (no earlier than 3:30 PM).
- Overtime Opportunities: Available.
Compensation
- Hourly wage: $16.45
- Benefits for part-time employees (under 30 hours/week):
- Accrued PTO (approximately 25 hours annually)
- Semiannual Custodian Incentive Bonus (up to $0.50/hour extra)

Qualifications

- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks
- Commercial cleaning experience preferred (school facilities a plus)
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Strong communication skills (English preferred)
- Must pass a criminal background check for working around children
- Authorized to work in the United States (E-verify required)
- Reliable transportation
- Smoke-free environment
- Proficiency in using a smartphone for timekeeping
