About the Role:
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you’ll work in the center, home and school settings with young children. You’ll focus on trauma-informed, naturalistic, and
functional ABA interventions. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, designing treatment plans, supporting families, and collaborating with an
interdisciplinary team to create meaningful outcomes for the children you serve.
Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral health needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Occasionally provide direct care through the implementation of evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques
- Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum, to address behavioral challenges and promote skill development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure continuity of care
- Stay current on research and best practices in the field of behavioral health.
- Train and support parents on the protocols.
- Collect data and graph
- Complete paperwork/notes
- Attend and/or lead team meetings outside of ABA sessions
- Active participation in supervision/ consultation sessions
Experience
- BCBA required
- Have at least 5 years of experience with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Experience writing ABA treatment plans including medical necessity criteria a plus
- Experience working with families
- Masters Degree required
- School of Play is an IBHS-ABA organization, and as such will require Behavior Specialist License for this position and we will support you if you are willing to obtain this license.
