Fulfillment Center Associate
Fulfillment Center Associates may work in any area of the FC, to include: Receiving, Shipping, Order Filling, Stocking, Returns, or Packing. The primary objective of this position will be to perform general warehouse duties needed to fulfill customer orders.
Flexible hours ranging up to 40-50 hours per week.
May be required to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
Summary of Primary Responsibilities
- Receiving
- Utilize RF or terminal to receive inbound product
- Inspect product for quality
- Verify unit count against packing list and receiving document
- “Breakdown” vendor receipts prior to put away
- Shipping / Packing
- Utilize RF equipment to assign cartons to pallets
- Verify order completion
- Prepare product for shipment
- Create Bill for Lading
- Loading truck
- Utilize dunnage and tape machine to complete packing process
- Order Filling
- Utilize RF equipment to pick product
- Ensure quantity and quality per order
- Prepare product for proper placement in carton
- Replenish pick location as required
- Utilize Pick to Light as required
- Stocking
- Utilize RF equipment to put product away
- Remove product from vendor cartons
- Stocking inner packs to pick locations
- Ensure product is stocked in an organized fashion
- Identify location sizing / “max” quantity issues
- Returns
- Identify and receive product against appropriate RMA
- Process unauthorized returns
- Verify product quality
- Process product for put away
All FC associates must be able to perform their daily work activities in a safe manner while following established location safety guidelines.
Minimum Experience Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older
- Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment preferred but not required. Training will be provided in order to be successful.
