What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intervention specialist position at Schoolforce Solutions?
Responsibilities :
- Ensures that the classroom is developmentally appropriate. Teaches students assigned to caseload.
- Administers required formative and summative assessments. Interprets results. Serves as a staff resource for general education teachers.
- Implements all program policies / procedures in a non-biased manner.
- Follows protocols to protect student assessment results that are shared with staff and / or referral sources. Ensures confidentiality of all materials, data, and student information.
Qualifications :
- Valid Ohio Department of Education (ODE) license in Intervention Specialist.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs, including developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Experience in diverse classroom settings is highly desirable.
