Business Unit Systems Analyst II - Dispute & Fraud Claims

The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

Pay Range : 41.79 - $62.68

What You'll Be Doing

Responsible for intermediate-level analysis and support of business systems to meet the goals of the business unit. Works closely with stakeholders to understand system requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend solutions to improve system efficiency. Acts as a liaison between the business unit and IT, ensuring that system enhancements align with business objectives.

Engages with business users and IT teams to define and document moderately complex system requirements.
Analyzes existing systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
Develops and executes test plans to validate system functionality and enhancements.
Collaborates with stakeholders to resolve system-related issues and recommend improvements.
Updates and maintains user documentation, training materials, and procedural guides.
Participates in planning and implementing system upgrades, patches, and new features.
Monitors system performance and data integrity, proactively addressing potential issues.
Contributes to the creation of workflows and processes that enhance business operations.
Coordinates with IT and other teams to ensure system changes are effectively communicated and adopted.

Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience required

5-7 years previous experience in business systems analysis required

Relevant credit union and / or financial systems experience preferred

Experience with business systems analysis, project management and information technology processes and methodologies preferred

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) CCBA or other certifications in business systems analysis preferred

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) SQL, Agile Scrum Master and Product Owner certifications preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office

Strong understanding of Excel. Ability to understand and implement lookup and pivot tables, data load and extraction. Ability to pull format project related reports from various data sources

Ability to develop and work with Microsoft Word templates. Manage document changes and integration of other Office components.

Ability to develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations

Microsoft Visio

Ability to construct comprehensive flow charts. General understanding various diagram methodologies including cross-functional, data flow and organizational diagrams.

Comprehensive knowledge of core-host financial processing systems a plus (Symitar preferred)

Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle

Intermediate knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting

Understanding of IT technology : file and data transfer methodologies and technologies, database concepts and network integrations

Demonstrate strong analytical and organzational skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups including executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
