Hourly Pay Rate: $24-$25.50/hr.
The Company: The Schoolyard Beer Garden & Café is opening this April and we are looking for friendly faces to join our team in preparation for our Grand Opening! With existing locations in Lowry, Green Valley Ranch, and Edgewater, we are excited to bring our concept to Denver’s historic Golden Triangle neighborhood. Celebrating Colorado’s craft beer culture, the Schoolyard Beer Garden is located at the historic
Evans School in the heart of Denver’s Golden Triangle. Featuring over 5,000 square feet of outdoor garden area, as well as inviting indoor seating, the Schoolyard Beer Garden is poised to become one of Denver’s premier destinations to enjoy craft beer, cocktails, and locally sourced food options all while dining alfresco under the warm Colorado sun and bluebird sky. Our food programs will consist of thoughtfully created gourmet burgers, brats, hand-crafted sandwiches and seasonal salads, along with a thoughtful array of snacks and side items to pair perfectly with our beverage programs.
Position Available:
We are looking for highly-motivated and hard-working cooks to hel lead and to join our opening crew as we introduce ourselves to the neighborhood. There will be numerous opportunities for advancement and promotions into management positions within the first few months of employment.
Job Requirements: Lead Cooks at the Schoolyard Beer Garden are expected to meet the following requirements to be considered a qualified candidate for the position:
- Setup & stock food items and necessary supplies
- Prepare & prep items both before, during, and after services when required
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements.
- Ability to execute entire menu during high-volume services with ability to present food according to company standards
- Full time availability, including nights & weekends required
- Ability to work all positions in the kitchen
- Must be a Team Leader at all times and keep a positive and constructive attitude
- Effectively communicate with fellow cooks, Sous Chef and Kitchen Manager
Compensation Cashiers: $24-$25.50/hr
