Schreiber Foods International, Inc. is looking for a Regional Sales Manager in the Northeast to join our sales team. The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the Vice President – Sales & Marketing. - Schreiber Foods International is excited and committed to growing our Foodservice sales; this position is integral to our future growth. We are seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional to contribute to the overall growth, focusing on expanding existing Foodservice distributors and Chain customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the overall growth of a defined portfolio by growing our existing Foodservice Distributor and Operator customers.
- Utilize your culinary experience to create menu applications, conduct product demonstrations, and become a valuable resource to our customers.
- Achieve annual sales and profit goals for your region
- Identify, target, and cultivate relationships with foodservice distributors, operators, and other targets to sell SFI’s line of products.
- Articulate and effectively communicate SFI’s strengths and capabilities while demonstrating how the customer will benefit.
- Add new customers to your portfolio
- To place and secure new line extensions within your customer base.
- Contribute information and insights to the organization to help select and successfully launch new items
- Build relationships with various management teams with each of your customers.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to ensure we achieve our mutual goals, explore new opportunities, and establish consistent and effective communication.
- Support and promote the SFI’s brands through product demonstrations, training, targeted sampling, and operator engagement.
- Conduct presentations to groups of 5-50 participants
- Explore and predict future opportunities for our customers, regularly monitor ongoing business, and coordinate product requirements with our Purchasing department.
- Coordinate with the Customer Solutions Coordinator assigned to each account to ensure accurate and timely communication about customer orders, changes, special requests, and challenges.
- Maintain pricing agreements and renewals with key accounts.
- Represent SFI in national & regional trade shows throughout the year.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Culinary experience in creating menu applications and conducting product demonstrations is a must-have skill • Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills are necessary
- Organized, detail-oriented with strong writing skills
- Friendly, courteous, and helpful personality
- Comfortable working as a member of a team
- Timely follow-up skills
- Desires the responsibility, ownership, and accountability of their work
- Ability to travel up to 50%
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years of sales experience in the food industry selling and managing the distribution network
- 3 years in direct foodservice distribution account management
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience is desired
