Yogurt Improvement Coordinator - EOWD
- Responsible for taking ownership of the Food Safety and Food Quality elements within the entire yogurt process
- Responsible for performing sanitation duties on processing and packaging equipment as needed
- Responsible for the filling, ingredient blending, and palletizing of yogurt products as needed
- Responsible for accurately performing Invio related functions of packaging materials and ingredients
- Responsible for all record keeping and documentation pertinent to yogurt production
- Responsible for learning the Fruit Utility role including operating a forklift.
- Responsible for minimizing product loss and / while operating all equipment relative to the packing of yogurt products
- Responsible for performing continuous improvement activities and basic Quality Assurance functions
- Responsible for promoting open, honest communication between team members
- Responsible for basic maintenance of equipment and maintaining a clean work environment
- Implement and audit problem identification tools (i.e. centerline, standard work, 5s, etc.)
- Hold and execute Problem Solving Circles as needed
- Use problem resolution tools to drive improvements (A3, fishbone diagrams, 5 why’s, etc.)
- Support PE continuous improvement activities.
- Ability to engage with cross-functional teams, for example maintenance, production, and quality.
- Must be flexible with hours to meet needs of business.
- Initiate, lead, and sustain continuous improvement activities
- Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
- Required to become skilled in the use of Process Excellence Tools (Including lean, problem solving, problem management) and to demonstrate these skills as part of their daily functioning as operators in support of achieving continuous improvement of line results.

identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation
and product. Record accurate data on production reports.
2. Operate MMI controls and PR equipment to endure proper flow and tracking of product Rarely As needed
3. Perform batch preparation of finished product Daily 2-3
4. Operate / monitor / troubleshoot the 5.3 oz / 16 oz / 32 oz automatic filling machines and
other related equipment Daily Continuous
5. Operate forklift when performing Fruit Utility job tasks. Daily Occasionally
6. Hand assembles shippers and liners as necessary . Rarely As Needed
7. Perform weight control and shift specific production documentation Daily Continuous
8. Ensure the production line is supplied adequately with packaging materials Daily 40- 200
9. Perform hand-packing duties as necessary Rarely 2-3 x wkly

Educational / Experience / Skills Required :
PE experience preferred, Yellow Belt preferred, Machine / Filler Operating preferred, Leadership experience preferred, Microsoft Office experience preferred
SKILLS : (Describe any special skill and / or requirements applicable to this position).
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed reports. Must be able to write and verbally communicate process procedures. Ability to write and read messages utilizing various methods such as electronic mail.
- Safely and responsible operate / process any material handling equipment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Data entry and ability to use inventory management software.
- Basic math skills and logic
