Schreiber Law, LLC is a small but fast paced debt collections law firm located in Salem, New Hampshire with a legal footprint that covers many New England states. The Legal Department is looking to hire a full time Legal Assistant as an Affidavit Specialist.
This position is a vital supporting role to the firm’s Lawsuit Production Department. This department is responsible for processing, producing, and filing all the lawsuits for the firm. Applicants should have knowledge handling legal administrative tasks and Microsoft Excel. Applicants should be able to handle an exciting, high pressure environment while meeting important deadlines and multitasking with an extreme emphasis on attention to detail and organization.
Qualified candidates must successfully pass new employee screening.
The primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Review and Process Internal Client Affidavit Workflow Reports
- Order Client Produced Affidavits According to Client Specific Procedures
- Follow-Up with Clients on Affidavits Requested Not Received According to Client Specific Procedures
- Manage the Production of Internally Produced Affidavits
- Maintain a Strong Knowledge of Individual Client Procedures and Suit Filing Requirements
- Organize Legal Documents within the Firm’s System of Record
- Interface with Clients to Request & Track Media Orders Required for Affidavit Production
- Projects Assigned by the Legal Production Manager.
