Overview
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Coordinator to join our family owned iris farm here in the Willamette Valley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and public relations, as well as proficiency in various design tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media campaigns across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create compelling content tailored to specific audiences, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities, including posting updates, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with followers.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to inform strategy adjustments and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts with broader digital marketing initiatives.
- Design graphics and visuals using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
- Proofread all content for accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines before publication.
- Maintain relationships with influencers and public relations contacts to amplify brand messaging.
Experience
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
- Strong skills in content creation, including writing, editing, and graphic design.
- Familiarity with SEO techniques to improve online visibility.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) is preferred.
- Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of advertising strategies on social platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in photography and video editing and posting.
