What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Relations Specialist position at Schrock Medical Clinic, PC?
The Community Relations Specialist main objective is to build positive relationships with other healthcare providers, professionals and prospective patients that position Schrock Medical Clinic as the number one option for neck, shoulder, hip, knee, back pain, joint pain, regenerative medicine and neuropathy within the community. This position will be responsible for all business to business marketing and will be required to travel within the sales demographic to cultivate relationships with prospective clients and healthcare partners. Location includes Kearney area, Grand Island, and a radius of approx. 60 miles of those locations.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Identify and build relationships with (but not limited to): local healthcare providers, key health influencers, local businesses, junior high, high school and colleges, local sports organizations, community centers etc.
- Promotion of the organization, pitch ideas, and build relationships with multiple external partners
- Development of future business through associations with the surrounding community
- Organization of cross over workshops, external marketing events, condition seminars, and dinner talks
- Attentive communication and follow-up with external relationships via CRM (SMS, MMS, Calls, Emails etc)
- Monitor competitors, new products, market conditions
- Create and maintain a schedule of events
- Maintain CRM section of companies and points of contact
- Understand the events happening in the community and how we can target the audience attending
- Scheduling weekly wellness / healthcare initiatives
- Contributes to team effort by collaborating with internal marketing manager and case management
- Ability to plan and successfully launch seminars, dinner talks, workshops etc. from start to finish
- Manage leads through the deal stages (CRM)
CAPABILITIES/KEY COMPETENCIES
- Comfortable developing partnerships within the surrounding healthcare community
- Creative and able to think outside the box or pivot when the need arises
- Familiar with CRM platforms, specifically Go High Level, and able to navigate updates and implementation of new technologies
- Familiarity in capturing photos, quick videos, video testimonials, and other media needed
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to quickly and effectively connect with patients and staff
- Entrepreneurially oriented, driven to succeed and a commitment to achieve results
- Self-starter who can work independently and as a team within existing processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and streamline functions
