Summary
Under the direction of the Human Resource Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator provides the best possible administrative assistance in support of the human resources functions, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Coordinate the employment process, including scheduling interviews, physicals, drug tests and orientation. Conduct new employee orientation, placing advertisements, and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required new employee paperwork and its entry into the computerized system.
- Recruit and interviews to fill vacant non-exempt positions.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Plan and execute employee engagement events.
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of employee files, both paper and electronic.
- Schedule meetings, notifying attendees, and coordinate locations, etc.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
- Works independently on special HR projects as assigned including maintaining the social media pages.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Education and/or Experience
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one to three years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
