JOB SUMMARY :
The material handler is responsible for the transportation, organization, and storage of materials and products. The material handlers are also tasked with inspecting finished products for quality, and ensuring all work is completed on time following safety protocol.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Move raw materials, finished goods, or other supplies to and from production areas, storage locations, or loading docks.
- Use forklifts, cranes and pallet jacks to transport items.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring safe handling and accurate delivery to designated areas.
- Assist in tracking and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring that materials are available for production.
- Organize materials in storage areas according to type, size, or usage for easy access and identification.

- Ensure that materials are packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment or production use according to specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols when handling materials, operating equipment, and working in the warehouse or production area.
- Report any equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance teams for repair.
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing proper personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and leads to meet production goals.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
