Material Handler

Title: Material Handler
Location: Appleton, WI 54911
Duration: 0-5 Months
Shift: 1ST Shift (7:00AM -3:00PM M - F)
Pay Rate: $20.00/Hour

Job Duties:

Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material-moving equipment.

Fill totes and drums with finished solid chemical products.

Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.

Complete all required daily documentation related to production.

Identify and report safety violations or concerns.

Participate in hands-on manufacturing and interact with equipment and products.

Work in a fast-paced production environment.

Support team members in operating chemical processes and other operational tasks.

Maintain excellent housekeeping, attendance, and teamwork.

Follow safety standards and wear all required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hard-toe shoes, gloves, etc.).

Troubleshoot equipment as needed.

Work rotating shifts and overtime as required.

This role has the potential for full-time operator placement.

Qualifications:

Material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.

Comfortable working around chemicals with minimal exposure.

Forklift operation experience and forklift certification required.

Ability to work all shifts and overtime as needed.

Basic computer skills and SAP knowledge.

Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.

Must be able to work from heights and confined spaces.

Must be able to wear a face mask/shield as needed (site has a facial hair policy).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 5x8
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
