We are seeking a skilled and bilingual HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English and bring a passion for supporting employees while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Generalist Functions
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support HR compliance efforts, including maintaining employee records, processing documentation, and ensuring adherence to labor laws.
- Responsible for data entry for new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and other employment transactions.
- Participate in employee relations efforts, resolving workplace issues with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to assist in recruitment efforts, including but not limited to posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and weekly job fair support.
- Assist in developing recruitment strategies to attract diverse talent, particularly for both English and Spanish-speaking candidates.
- Support the development of employer branding initiatives to promote Schulson Collective as an employer of choice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of HR generalist or related experience, preferably in hospitality or a similar industry.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and recruitment strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with ADP systems and recruitment platforms is a plus.
