Since our beginning in 2016, LOGE has grown to nine open Camps and more than a dozen in development — all near our favorite towns and trails. With a range of ways to stay – rooms, van hookups, tent spots, as well as group meeting spaces - LOGE inspires the best of the outdoors and community.

POSITION OVERVIEW

LOGE Camps is seeking an Area General Manager to oversee the Southwest Region of LOGE Sites.


JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct operational oversight of 4-8 LOGE Camp sites
  • Communicate and execute company and brand strategy
  • Recruits and manages the training of the region's leadership team.
  • Attend executive leadership and/or board meetings
  • Oversee revenue generation for portfolio of hotels
  • Promote overall culture of the LOGE Camps brand within all disciplines
  • Guide and oversee the preparation of property and corporate department budgets
  • Analyze individual property financial reports and collaborate with property teams to achieve maximum financial results
  • Approval of annual operating and FF&E capital budgets
  • Analysis and proposal of strategic ROI initiatives to senior leadership; management and execution of FF&E and ROI capital initiative
  • Preparation and management of on-property monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by each department and property
  • Attract, retain and motivate property teams
  • Identify individuals that have a high potential for internal growth and provide adequate opportunities for those individuals
  • Work closely with LOGE Camps Brand to ensure compliance with brand standards and programs
  • Responsibility for pre-opening activities related to hotels under direct and indirect oversight
  • Lead the transitions and openings of new hotels
  • Ensure highly productive internal and external relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the organization
  • Sets goals, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization
  • Work alongside community leaders, executive directors, major donors/funders, government officials, and senior staff/board members.
  • Participate in and nurture broad networks of alliances with others to exchanges knowledge and information about learning and change in support of change initiatives
  • Manages and delegates tasks to corporate support team with aim to provide the greatest support and direction to on property teams

SKILLS NEEDED

  • Strong analytical skills relative to impact on hotel revenues
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Strong understanding of revenue management principles
  • Ability to use reservation and revenue management systems to develop pricing and sales recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, focus on Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Must have flexible work hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business, or Marketing
  • Minimum of 3 years in progressive regional operations leadership role
