Dual Director of Rooms - Memoir New Orleans and Pontchartrain

Collegiate Hotel Group®, is seeking a Dual Director of Rooms to oversee The Pontchartrain and Memoir New Orleans and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

. Oversee the efficient operation of the rooms division and ensure that guests/residents receive exceptional service throughout their stay.

. Develop and implement new policies, procedures, and practices to enhance guest satisfaction and improve efficiency.

. Recruit, train, lead, and motivate team members, including managing third-party staff.

. Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditures.

. Planning work schedules for individuals and teams .

. Handling customer complaints, concerns, and feedback.

. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.

. Collaborate with other teams on the property to ensure smooth operations.

. Plan and execute exclusive events and activities to engage residents and build a sense of community.

. Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.

. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

. Minimum of three years' experience in hotel operational leadership roles, preferred as, Director of Rooms, Rooms Manager, or Front Office Manager.

. High School Diploma/GED.

. Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or business preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

. Must be detail-oriented, process-driven, and a problem-solver.

. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

. Demonstrated ability to lead a team

. Financial savvy

. Proficient in Microsoft Office products

. Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods.
