Server Assistant for Kasumi @ Waterstone Resort

Waterstone Resort & Marina, a Curio Collection by Hilton property, managed by Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Restaurant Server Assistant (Food Runner/Busser/Barback) to join our team! Our resort is on the Boca Inlet overlooking the Boca Bay. Modern Japanese restaurant, Kasumi is settled within our Heart of Hospitality, the Heart of our Resort. Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring tables are ready for the next guests Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations
• Assist servers with delivering food and beverages, refilling water glasses, and addressing guest needs
• Transport dirty dishes into the kitchen and ensure they are properly sorted for washing
• Replenish tableware, utensils, and other dining supplies as needed
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow
• Stock and replenish bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and ice
• Assist bartenders with preparing drinks, including garnishing and delivering beverages
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
• Ensure bar stations are always fully stocked and prepared for service
• Help with organizing bar deliveries
• Perform various other duties as assigned
  
  

Education And Experience

• Minimum of High School Education
• Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel/restaurant service role preferred
• Food Handler & Alcohol Awareness Certification preferred, or able to obtain
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Knowledge: Basic understanding of food and beverage service
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods, and lift heavy objects when necessary
• Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Professionalism: Professional appearance and demeanor, maintaining the high standards of our establishment
• Availability: Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of food and beverage service
