Waterstone Resort & Marina , a Curio Collection by Hilton property, managed by Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Full-Time or Part-Time Host / Hostess to join our team! PM Shifts (3pm - 11pm) - weekends & holiday shifts availability is a must! Our resort is on the Boca Inlet overlooking the Boca Bay. Modern Japanese restaurant, Kasumi is settled within our Heart of Hospitality, the Heart of our Resort. SHG is an organization whose success is rooted in its service culture. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guest Reception : Greet guests warmly and courteously upon arrival, providing a memorable first impression
- Reservation Management : Manage reservations efficiently, ensuring optimal seating arrangements and timely table turnover
- Seating Coordination : Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus
- Waitlist Management : Manage the waitlist during peak hours, communicating waiting times accurately to guests
- Service Flow : Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth and efficient service flow
- Guest Assistance : Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service
- Ambiance Maintenance : Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, waiting area, and dining room
- Phone Handling : Answer phone calls professionally, taking reservations and addressing guest inquiries
- Special Requests : Accommodate special seating requests and arrangements for large parties or special occasions
- Perform various other duties as assigned
