Our firm is looking for an accounting associate to prepare tax returns, perform payroll functions for clients, be a part of our audit team, prepare monthly financial statements, and work together with other staff members to ensure a smooth running office and well served clientele. Our firm offers on the job training, but welcomes individuals who already have firm experience. There are opportunities for future advancement for the right individual, as well as performance-based incentives.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting records of the firm's clientele.
- Must work well individually, and as part of a team.
- Draft audit reports
- Enter financial data in accounting software and perform general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare tax returns.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Audit team member.
- Assist clientele as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
