About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. Your responsibilities will include verifying invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing:
- Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports.
- Enter invoice data into the accounting system.
- Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate account balances.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Other Duties as Assigned:
- Perform additional tasks as required by the Accounts Payable Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in accounts payable or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
