Summer Day Camp Counselor positions available for this summer!
The Schuylkill YMCA is looking for energetic people to work at our St. Clair camp location this summer! Counselors will work with children ages 5-12 in a day camp setting Monday through Friday during the summer months.
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma and experience working with children.
All applicants must be CPR/First Aid Certified, show proof of current PA clearances & have a mandated reporter certificate.
Summary
As a Summer Day Camp Counselor, you will be instrumental in creating a safe and engaging environment for children during their summer activities. Reporting to the Camp Director, you will utilize your core skills in childcare and experience with children to facilitate fun and educational programs. Your premium skills in first aid and classroom management will ensure the well-being of campers. Additionally, your relevant experience in sports coaching and early childhood education will enhance the overall camp experience. Pay: $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
