SPA LLC. requires the following skills and abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate with good working knowledge in the use of all MS Office software programs and other quality software programs
- Detail oriented, organized, and dependable with time management skills
- Willing to learn new software in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality related field preferred (TQM, SPC, ISO 9000 and GFSI)
- HACCP and PCQI certified
- Preferred green or black belt
- An energetic, motivated, and dependable worker that is dedicated to the job and team
- The ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates.
- The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team.
- Help develop, coordinate, facilitate and administer the quality management system for the company.
- Maintain the Quality Management System and Quality Manual assuring they are kept current and revised when needed.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate company-wide quality training programs for company personnel.
- Administer, update, audit, and train others on the quality software program (QT9) assuring that all information entered is correct, followed up on and closed out.
- Assure that all gauges in the facility are calibrated to a national standard and labeled with the calibration date and next due date and enter all information into QT9.
- Review daily production builds to ensure we are meeting customer/internal specifications.
- Review end of shift batch records to ensure we are meeting customer/internal specifications.
- Work with the Distribution/Sales team to resolve any customer charge backs.
- Responsible for preparing for all third-party audits.
- Coordinate company communications between all company facilities regarding quality related issues.
- Resolve quality problems as needed with vendors, customers, quality representatives and company personnel.
- Visit customers with sales to review quality processes used and to address any concerns and/or issues a customer may have.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities.
- Works on special projects as needed assigned by supervisor
