Schwieters Companies is hiring a highly motivated full-time, Commercial Millwork Estimator to join our team to estimate projects generally in the commercial division, and in some residential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare labor and/or material estimates of products
- Obtain pricing from various vendors and include those costs in estimates provided to customers
- Use On-Screen Takeoff software to generate quantities and complete detailed estimates for Prefinish, Millwork and Finish Carpentry
- Perform field visits and verifications, record measurements, and review for possible issues with current proposal vs. on-site conditions
- Work directly with an assigned Sales/Project Manager to produce proposals to potential customers, along with a team of Estimators to review each other's work
- Communicate with project managers, jobsite supervisors, finish carpenters, architects/designers, and other subcontractors as needed
- Organize and maintain project information through the duration of a project, with the ability to handle multiple projects at a time
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of the construction industry and the ability to carefully read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Previous estimating experience or millwork product knowledge preferred
- Experience with estimating software such as PlanSwift, 20/20, & AutoCAD is a plus
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including Office 365, specifically Excel
- Analytical ability to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work
- Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to work extra hours when needed
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Excellent mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, and ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines
- Excellent written communication, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license

WORK SCHEDULE
- Monday-Friday, (7am-4pm, 1 hour lunch)
- Hybrid/Remote work available 2 days a week after training is complete

COMPENSATION
- $21-$25 per hour depending on qualifications/experience
