Millwork Estimator

Established in 1993, artifex/millwork, inc. is an industry leader dedicated to the manufacturing of custom commercial furniture, architectural millwork, and retail fixtures. We have built a solid reputation with our customers over our 30-year history by skillfully crafting projects/products. We serve various commercial sectors such as hospitality, restaurant, law firm, and financial institutions in and around the twin city metro as well as throughout the nation. We are conveniently located just north of the twin city area in Wyoming, MN.

• We are currently looking for a Millwork Estimator to join our Team. An ideal candidate will possess the following essential soft skills: excellent time and project management, highly organized, problem-solving abilities, work with a sense of urgency, detail oriented, maintain project flexibility and the ability to adapt to change. If you are someone with outstanding communication skills, ability to multi-task and enjoys working with others we encourage you to apply.

In addition, you will

• Work directly with an assigned Sales/Project Manager to produce proposals to potential customers.
• Organize and produce quote requests for material suppliers.
• Detail material quantities for order ager the project is awarded.
• Produce shop drawings and material submittals.
• Manage estimating process from request for proposal to internal review of completed proposals.
• Knowledge of how to read plans, perform take-offs, and create accurate proposals

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Past field or job experience is desired
