Roofing Estimator

Overview
Are you experienced in Xactimate or Symbility and want to work on the contractor side of the restoration process?

We are an established and reputable roofing company here in the DFW area. We specialize in insurance claim-based roofing and exterior renovation

We are seeking a detail oriented estimator with a minimum of 2 years of roofing estimating or field adjuster experience.

The ideal candidate is required to be proficient in both of the following two industry standard estimating platforms:

1. Xactimate

2. Symbility

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate estimates using Xactimate and/or Symbility
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
• Write and submit insurance supplements to adjusters for approval
• Speak with insurance adjusters to justify estimate changes and supplements requests
• Submit invoices to insurance carriers upon project completion
• Manage inbound service requests and coordinate with field teams
• Work closely with the Sales Manager and field team
• Ensure estimates comply with insurance guidelines and company policies
• Provide support during the bidding process, including preparing bid proposals and presenting estimates to clients.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to each project.

Skills

• Proficiency in Xactimate or Symbility (or highly experienced in similar software)
• Strong attention to detail ability to review, adjust, and justify estimates
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative office environment
• Confident in speaking with insurance adjusters to negotiate and justify supplements
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure precise estimations.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
