Job Title: Quality Specialist
Science, Engineering, Management Solutions LLC (Sem-Sol) is a small business in Albuquerque, NM on the forefront of science and industry. Our skilled scientists, engineers and technicians specialize in directed energy and pulsed power systems and use advanced technology to develop innovative solutions for a range of Department of Defense agencies and commercial industries.
Sem-Sol is seeking a Quality Specialist who has experience with quality assurance and ISO related standards. We need a high-performing professional with:

- Excellent prioritization and project skills our technical and quality personnel are integral to keeping the program on-target.
Duties will include:
- Identify and document risk assessments to support technical product delivery.
- Work on Government contracts and understanding, roles, processes, and constraints from conception to delivery.
- Build and maintaining internal and external customer relationships through effective communication and timely task completion.
- Pivot and adjust to change followed by revising procedures and documents to retain compliance with ISO standards.
- Create and maintain project records, procedures and test results for all associated project equipment and deliverables.
- Demonstrate independent ability to meet all project objectives by developing and providing a holistic final solution for the end user and situation.
- Document new processes and project testing plans.
- Assist technical staff in the ability to quality inspect items. Analyze, define, configure and operate electronic test equipment and electronic communications devices to solve complex issues.
- Establish and update project procedures and documentation related to the communications devices under test.
- Analyze and troubleshoot communications equipment problems and provide technical solutions to operational and test issues affecting multiple groups.
- Support hardware realization efforts through design, analysis, procurement, assembly/integration, testing, and delivery of products to end customers.
- Support technical program design reviews for internal and external customers.
- Create and/or review technical drawings to ensure designs meet form, fit, and function requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with quality assurance and ISO related standards.
- ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Certification.
- Successful completion of ISO 9001 or AS9100 internal auditor or lead auditor course.
- Experience delivering and providing quality support for certified projects as a technical project member, quality lead or program manager.
- Experience supporting activities or conducting ISO 9001, AS9100, audits and identifying, initiating correct actions.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Desired Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree.
- Experience in within a research and development prototyping environment.
- Experience with a PDM environment.
- Familiarity with fabrication methods associated with prototype realization (machine tools, welding, surface treatments, etc.).
- Must be proficient in the use of commercial test equipment from Tektronix and instruments including analyzers (signal, network, noise, power and audio), oscilloscopes, meters, generators (signal, waveform), counters and power supplies in the testing and analysis of electronic communication devices and issues.
- Ability to effectively work on multiple tasks with changing priorities and interruptions.
