Position: After-School STEM Assistant Instructor

Responsibilities:
As a STEM instructor, you'll:
- Assist the children with exciting hands-on experiments and activities for elementary aged students.
- Foster a creative and supportive space for students to explore and learn.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for working with children and cultivating a love for STEM.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts in an approachable manner.
- Availability during after-school hours for club sessions.
- Previous experience working with children or teaching (in or outside of a school setting).
- Up-to-date clearances/background checks (or willingness to obtain them).
- Ability to reliably commute to the club location and transport lesson supplies.
- Must be able to arrive at the school 5 to 10 minutes prior to start time and assist with cleanup.

Job Specifics:
- This club will be scheduled to run at St. Joseph School on Wendesdays from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm and begins May 7th and runs 4 weeks every Wednesday, in Mechanicsburg, PA.
- Pay rate is $25 per class assisted. This is a flat-rate, independent contractor position.
*Compensation rate includes reviewing the lesson, prepping supplies, instructing and after class clean up time.
