Contracts Paralegal

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Contracts Paralegal for a leading global manufacturer of electrical systems. This is a full-time, temporary onsite role based in Novi, MI.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Paralegal to support a high-impact legal project with a focus on trade compliance and contract review. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the legal team to manage compliance documentation, assist in tariff analysis, and support the implementation of new regulatory policies. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review, draft, and organize legal contracts and compliance documents
• Conduct research on U.S. and international trade regulations
• Assist with analysis and tracking of tariffs and policy changes
• Monitor evolving trade laws and help implement updates to internal processes
• Support audits and customer compliance investigations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal accuracy and timely documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Paralegal Certificate or Paralegal Degree
• Experience reviewing and managing contracts, ideally in a compliance or legal setting
• Familiarity with trade regulations, tariffs, and policy implementation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong communication, research, and organizational skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers an hourly compensation range of $27-29/hr, depending on experience. As a Scion Staffing temporary employee, you may also be eligible for optional benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans, depending on assignment length and eligibility.
