Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Development on behalf of our client, a nonprofit organization focused on advancing equity and providing impactful community programs. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Miami, FL.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Director of Development, you will lead efforts to design and implement fundraising strategies, foster meaningful relationships with donors, and drive organizational growth. This key role will have a direct impact on the mission by securing financial support from a variety of funding sources. You will collaborate closely with leadership to establish goals and oversee all fundraising activities, from grants to corporate sponsorships, while managing a team to support the execution of these efforts.

- Proven experience in fundraising, donor engagement, and grants management within a nonprofit setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in public speaking.
- Familiarity with fundraising best practices and donor relationship management.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
