Scion Staffing has been engaged to lead the search for an experienced Director of Philanthropy on behalf of our client, a nonprofit international development organization dedicated to improving lives and creating opportunities through initiatives in governance, education, gender equity, and more across Asia and the Pacific. This is a direct-hire position that can be worked remotely in New York City.
Overview :
Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, the Director of Philanthropy manages a robust portfolio of individual and corporate donors on the East Coast. Key responsibilities include developing cultivation of new donors, organizing events to profile the organizationâ?™s work and expertise, donor communications, and organizing transformative impact trips for high-net-worth donors.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies targeting individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
- Cultivate and manage a portfolio of high-value donors, ensuring effective solicitation and stewardship.
- Plan and execute major events, including a high-profile annual gala and donor cultivation activities.
- Organize transformative donor impact trips and retreats, enhancing donor engagement and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising efforts with programmatic goals.
- Represent the organization at external meetings, conferences, and events to expand donor networks.

This position offers an annual salary between $112,000-$141,000 annually in addition to a robust benefits package.
